Round Mountain Rockhound Area is one of two Fire Agate collecting areas (Black Hills Rockhound Area and Round Mountain Rockhound Area) on land under the authority of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in southeastern Arizona. Rockhounding for Fire Agate – Black Hills Rockhound Area, Safford, Arizona

Black Hills Rockhound Area is one of two Fire Agate collecting areas in southeastern Arizona on land under the authority of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).  We visited in early November with the Ocotillos glowing in autumnal shades of ruby, copper, and gold before the dark rocky outcroppings of the aptly named Black Hills. Oh, how I love being in these places, whether I find a pretty rock or not.

Our Rig.... I'll share our journey from the RV we started out in to the one we live in now, the perfect full time RV for us. It took a whole lot of research, some honest communication and a spark of kismet. I'll explain why we chose the Raptor and all the reasons it fit our lifestyle so well.
